A pilot-scale extraction of sunflower pectin with 0.74% (w/v) sodium citrate (72 °C, 194 min) and different procedures of purification including alcohol precipitation, ultrafiltration (UFDF) and microfiltration (MFDF) with diafiltration were carried out.
